When I received Christ into my life, I worked hard trying to be righteousness by my own actions. Though I did not realize it then, I had only accepted Jesus as my Lord but not as my righteousness. I always felt that I was responsible for being right before God.

Then, about seven years ago, I began listening to Pastor Prince. I would purchase his messages and feel enlightened each time after I listened to them. Recently, I decided to listen to The Power Of Right Believing message for thirty days. Again, I felt enlightened as I listened to the same sermon day after day. While listening, it was as if layer upon layer of condemnation was being removed. I began to understand and experience how listening to the Word daily could break up the fallow ground of my heart. On the thirtieth day of listening to the sermon, I had the greatest experience of my life.

There was a point in the sermon where Pastor Prince was talking about how Jesus has become my righteousness and there was nothing for me to do but believe. I broke down and began to shed tears because I felt the burden of trying to perform to be right before God being released from my heart.

Now, I do not just purchase his materials, listen, and move on. Instead, I will listen to the same message as often as I can because I love being washed by the Word. It is such a cleansing experience. I thank God for leading me to stop and listen to Pastor Prince on television one lonely night. The gospel of grace is real and life changing.
