I’ve watched Pastor Prince for years and truly believe I’m the righteousness of God in Christ. I used to live by guilt and confess every sin I could remember before going to sleep. It’s been so freeing to have that burden lifted.

However, even though I confessed that I am the righteousness of God by faith in what Jesus has done, I hadn’t been able to quit smoking or vaping. I partake of the Holy Communion every day, and I pictured the e-cigarette being crushed by the nails in Jesus’ hands, but I still couldn’t stop. I couldn’t understand why some people could quit smoking within a couple of weeks.

Then I listened to the audiobook of Destined to Reign. When I heard that Jesus freed me from the curse, something clicked. I continued to confess that I was the righteousness of God in Christ, but I added that Jesus freed me from the curse. Within days, I was nicotine-free after 35 years of smoking.

Pastor Prince, I get teary-eyed just writing this. I thank Jesus that He led me to you so I would know I was righteous by faith and freed from confessing my sins and living with a guilty conscience. I thank Him that He gave you the words in Destined to Reign that finally freed me from smoking after so many years. I am now Jesus-conscious, not sin-conscious!
